Who we Help
Survivors of Hurricane Helene

My home was destroyed in a mudslide during Helene. My husband was standing outside and was trapped in the mud. He didn't survive. My husband owned his own business and I worked for him, so I have no income now. I am living with my daughter and her family. Insurance denied my claim.
On September 27th a massive landslide completely destroyed our home, after moving it 200 yards downhill while we were still trapped inside. The landslide destroyed our vehicles, too. Insurance has denied our claim.

On September 27th, I almost lost my life when my house was taken by flood waters. By the grace of God, I am still alive. I lost my house, my dogs and a lifetime of possessions that can never be replaced.
